The Power of Pink Walk was inspired by the loss of one of our Directors’ wife who battled this dreadful disease unsuccessfully, and the need to help women who don’t have insurance to receive screening mammograms so that they can beat this disease. This is the 4th year for this walk and the community support has increase the participation and the monetary donation to the Tough Enough for Pink Program thru Caldwell Night Rodeo to two of the local hospitals, West Valley Medical Center and St. Alphonsus Medical Center. The Walk’s eventual hope is to increase the monies donated to also help those women with no insurance who have to have additional testing after the screening mammogram. Click here for application.
