Alexis Bennett -
2012
Howdy rodeo fans! I am Alexis Bennett the 20 year old daughter of Michelle Bennett - Neice and Mark Neice of Middleton and Jeff Bennett of Meridian. I am a junior at College of Idaho where I am majoring in English Literature with minors in Political Economy and Business. I am also proud to call myself a member of the Howlin' Yotes Speech and Debate team. Go Yotes! I work at my family's convenient store, Franklin Junction, when not in school or on one of my horses.
Sir Winston Churchill once said that "when you are on a great horse, you have the best seat you will ever have." This year at the Caldwell Night Rodeo, sitting on my horse Sonny, I felt I had the best seat in the house. Becoming the Caldwell Night Rodeo Queen has been a dream come true and I look forward to a great year representing throughout Idaho and the Northwest at rodeos, parades, and community events. It is an honor to represent a top twenty PRCA rodeo in the community where I have grown up and my goal is to contribute back to it as much as it has given me.
I want to thank everyone who has been by my side throughout this journey - my family and friends, the CNR Board, Nikki Zachary, and all of the wonderful sponsors.
2011 was great, let's make 2012 another spectular year at the Caldwell Night Rodeo; the rodeo "Where the Cowboys are the Stars!"
